Holman Boiler Works Inc. has full in-house engineering and drafting capabilities. Holman Boiler Works engineers are experienced in designing, reverse engineering and evaluating many types of boilers, steam and fuel piping and pressure vessels to ASME and National Board Code, and many other design standards. Holman Boiler Works carries a full range of ASME stamps to back the repairs and or fabrications designed by the Holman engineering staff. Our engineering staff has developed accurate, steam / hot water layouts for complex sytems / components.
Holman Boiler Works Inc. has decades of engineering experience in design of Boilers, Boiler Components, Pressure Vessels, for both fabrication in our shop and erection in the field. The years of experience of our engineering department combined with the advanced technology available to the department, enable Holman Boiler Works to become an effective partner for your design and engineering needs.
Holman Boiler Works capabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Structural and Mechanical Drafting, for presentation and or manufacturing.
- Analyze and design replacement equipment for most any boiler system.
- Prepare all production design drawings and data to produce replacement equipment. This can be particularly valuable when OEM no longer supporting equipment and will not provide necessary production drawings.
- HBW's experienced engineering staff can Increase/decrease capacity, improve efficiency with steam and or combustion, improve emissions and or replicate all or part of an existing field erect boiler.
- HBW engineers can analyze performance issues, diagnose problems, design solutions, produce and install replacement components.
- HBW engineers can design and upgrade your boiler controls, both combustion and steam / hot water.
- Improve and control NOx emissions through burner upgrade, sealed combustion and convection chambers, Design and configuration of Flue Gas Recirculation, Design and configuration of induced gas recirculation, SCR system installation and or design.
- Design of Fuel system Retro fits, (helpful with the oil market situation)
- Design and or retrofit of Economizer system
- System troubleshooting and issue analysis with complete solution and support design write up.
- Extensive support to insurance companies in analyzing and reporting on incidents and evaluating proposals for repair or replacements.
